Rapid growth for new Op' Paul

Rapid growth for new Op' Paul If you were looking for inspiration to grow your Vending Revolution business, then you only need speak to Paul and Ann Whittle who operate in Bristol.

From an initial 50 vendors they collected in August last year, they have progressively grown their business to 250 units by October and has now taken delivery of their latest batch of 350 vendors bringing them to a present total of 600 vendors, giving them an impressive domination of Bristol. Paul and Ann are not planning to rest on their laurels though, already planned for the not too distant future, are another batch of vendors as well as strategic upgrading of suitable existing site's to Snack-a-Can Tower Vendors to maximise revenue and profitability.

Paul and Ann come into vending a while back after looking around for a flexible business that would fit around their present business activities. After purchasing a selection of different vendors they were excited by the potential they could see but were held back by the near impossible task of acquiring fresh sites and then having to compete with other independent operators to keep the site from being poached by offering an ever increasing percentage of the revenue to the site owner. It was at this point they discovered The Vending Revolution website and realised that there was a solution to their vending woes! After an initial chat with Barbara followed by an informal meeting, Paul and Ann were welcomed onboard and as they say - the rest is history!

Margaret - no longer alone

Margaret - no longer alone Beavering away and doing the terrific job she always has, Margaret McKenzie, who operates in Glasgow, was our sole Scottish Franchisee for our first seven years but has since been joined by several other Scottish operators over the past year.

Having purchased her Vending Revolution Business from original operator Angela Robertson, who built the business as one of our very first Franchisee's in 1996, but had to sell up due to her husband gaining a major promotion and moving to England, Margaret has continued Angela's stirling work and consistently runs an efficient and profitable business.

Terry's aniversary

Terry's aniversary Congratulations to Terry - Worcestershire - who has just completed his 11th year as a Vending Revolution Franchisee.

Terry was one of our original Franchisees having joined us shortly after we launched our Licensed Franchisee programme. During his time with us Terry has proven to be a stalwart individual not only growing his own business progressively over the years, but there to offer advice and help to others too.

Presently, Terry is setting his son up in the vending business and has ordered 50 Bulk Vendors to start the youngster on his way, if he's anything like his Dad it won't be his last delivery!

Tony's hard work pays off

Tony's hard work pays off After a few years of enjoying the fruits of his early Vending Revolution success, Tony Parish is back with a mission having recently decided to implement a massive expansion to strengthen his already impressive empire as the King of Newcastle. Tony is preparing to take delivery of his first 100 Snack-a-Can Towers that will bring his established business to over 700 vendors – a truly impressive achievement, but is determined to reach 1000!

To celebrate his expansion and success, and as a direct result of his commitment to his business, Tony has now been able to fulfil his life-time ambition by taking delivery of a fantastic racing red convertible Ferrari sports car! He tells me he can't get over the power and sound of the engine, and spends as much time just admiring the car from his sitting room window as he does driving it! - Well done Tony, but I'm not sure how many jelly beans you'll get in the boot!

Tony, and his lovely better half Maureen, have been loyal Franchisee's since the very beginning in 1996 and epitomise the Vending Revolution culture of enthusiasm and commitment.

Stuarts Inspiration
It's not just the established Operators who come up with good ideas. Stuart Duff who only recently joined the Revolution earlier this year and operates in Northern Ireland, has come up with a cracker of an idea.

Stuart thought it would be a good idea when he delivered his first 50 vendors to their new locations, to put the first .20p in the vendor and give the first handful of jelly beans to the site to try. This simple idea proved an absolute hit with his sites, breaking the ice and stimulating an immediate demand for the tasty beans.

Like many of our new franchisees, Stuart is completely new to vending and was very grateful for the help and support that was on offer as his learnt his new profession. His vending business results have been truly impressive and continue to please both Stuart and his wife Alison, in fact, Stuart has now taken delivery of his second batch of 50 and has plans in place to expand to several hundred including the exciting new Snack-a-Can Towers later this year.
